Coach Elaine Brown is looking forward to returning to coaching volleyball, the sport that she loves, at the collegiate level. She will seek to prepare the team technically, tactically, socially, and spiritually as she meshes each of the different personalities and abilities into a cohesive unit. Coach Brown desires to challenge each player to achieve their potential as a team through sound technical teaching and a high level of conditioning.

Previously Coach Brown has coached high school volleyball, was the women's volleyball at Cedarville University from 1982-1994, and was an assistant volleyball coach at Baptist Bible College in 2003. During her 13 years as head women's volleyball coached she was named Western Buckeye Collegiate Conference Volleyball Coach of the Year twice, as well as the NAIA District 22 Volleyball Coach of the Year, and Mid-Ohio Conference Volleyball Coach of the Year. Coach Brown also turned in ten winning seasons, won 30 or more games three times, and 20 or more games six times.

Dr. Brown also serves here at BBC as a professor in the Physical Education Department. Outside of teaching and coaching Dr. Brown enjoys playing golf, playing tennis, photography, travelling, landscaping, reading, watching Cincinnati Reds baseball, and watching/attending Ohio State sports.
