Langhorne, PA - Baptist Bible and Philadelphia Biblical University went the distance in the NEAC women’s volleyball championship Saturday. The Crimson Eagles stopped an early 2 games to 1 lead by the Lady Defenders to capture the NEAC Title in five games (3-2).
Tournament MVP Becky Williams had 17 kills to lead the way for PBU. Caitlin Hess and Betsy Ranck had 15 kills and 43 assists respectively to lift the Crimson Eagles over Baptist Bible for the second time this season.
Senior Amy Konzelman (Des Moines, IA) was out in front for the Defenders with 15 kills and a match high 27 digs. Heather Stamper (Hagerstown, MD) had 16 kills and teammate Jenette Cline led all players with 45 assists.
The Lady Defenders finish their season with an overall 16-17 record and a 5-1 record in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.
