Spring All-Academic Team Announced

Aston, Pa. -The Colonial States Athletic Conference has announced its 2009 Spring All-Academic Team. The Defenders have 30 student-athletes who have been named to the All-Academic Team, two all-conference selections, and two sportsmanship awards.

"It is my pleasure to announce that 430 CSAC student-athletes have achieved the level of academic success needed to be named to the Spring 2009 CSAC All-Academic Team," said CSAC Commissioner, Amy Friedman. "These student-athletes have assumed leadership roles on their campuses by demonstrating that a complete education includes both academics and athletics."

The 2009 Spring CSAC All-Academic Team is an award that is achieved by student-athletes who meet the NCAA III eligibility requirements, earn a varsity status in his or her respective sport, and earn a GPA of 3.2 or higher for the spring semester. The All-Academic Team consists of athletes from Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Golf, and Men's Tennis.
