Coach Dwight Peterson helped launch the men’s golf program at BBC in the fall of 2004. An avid golfer, Peterson enjoys the game, but also the relationships he builds with the team. He views golf as a great avenue of ministry…four hours alongside someone to talk about everyday life and its issues.
Peterson is the Director of Discipleship at BBC and also teaches evangelism and church education classes. At his local church, Summit Baptist Bible Church, he teaches junior high Sunday School. In the community, he helps with local recreational athletic programs. He enjoys spending time at his children’s’ events and canoeing. Dwight is married to Bonnie, and has two daughters, one son-in-law, two sons, and one adorable grandson.
