Coach Mike Show, a 1992 BBC graduate, returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach in 1993. He took over the program in 1994 and has seen much success on the court on a NCCAA II regional and national level. He enjoys coaching because of the many relationships he has built over the years.
Show is also the Assistant Director of Athletics for BBC. He is responsible for scheduling various sports, overseeing the Phelps Student Center, game personnel management, and much, much, more. He also is an assistant coach for the men’s golf team and softball team. Outside of basketball, he loves to play golf and spend time with his wife, Valerie, also a BBC alumnus, and their six children – J.C., Johanna, Jessie, Madison, Michael, and Matthew. At his local church, Heritage Baptist Church, he has taught Sunday School at various times.
Coach Show’s favorite verse is John 3:30 – “He must become greater; I must become less.” NIV

What is your favorite verse?
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullnesss should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earh or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
