How are members selected? The process is first and foremost influenced by a special emphasis on Christ-like values, personal integrity, and a servant’s spirit that accurately represents and reflects Jesus Christ. Specific steps include the following: 1. Any interested person may submit names for consideration, along with the supporting information, to the office of Alumni Relations or to the Sports Information Director. Nominations are accepted year-round. 2. Nominees from previous inductions are automatically considered by the committee. 3. Previous nominees are considered active for no more than five years. 4. The final selection to the Hall of Honor is determined by a majority vote of the selection committee. Voting is by secret ballot. 5. The Athletic Director will notify the person(s) selected no later than one week following the vote of the selection committee. Who serves on the selection committee? Committee members come from a range of backgrounds that cover 13 different categories. - Director of Alumni and Church Relations—Mark Steckiel |
