Facilities

Soccer

Our men and women's soccer programs have three fields that they utilize during the fall and spring soccer seasons. While our “upper” field and “quad” field are good practice fields, our main soccer field is a campus highlight. Often described as the best field in northeast Pennsylvania, our main field is well maintained and surrounded by the beautiful setting of trees and our campus pond. The east side of the field has a natural slope, which provides an ideal place for the fans to enjoy the game.

Basketball & Volleyball

Our gymnasium, which is in the Phelps Student Center, hosts all of our basketball and volleyball contests. In the past ten years, the gym has undergone many renovations including: new bleachers, a new ceiling, the addition of air conditioning, and a new maple wood floor. As the largest space on campus, our gymnasium also hosts conferences, concerts, and commencement each year.

Cross Country

Utilizing our beautiful setting, the cross country course makes it way through the varied terrain on campus. Redesigned in 2004, due to a new roadway system, the women's course is 3 K, while the men's course is 7.9 K. The cross country program hosts two regular-season meets each year.

Softball

Our softball field, built in 2001, is the newest addition to our sporting facilities. Located in the middle of our campus, the field is a great place for students to come together to watch a game. The softball field is also used for intramurals and other social activities.

Baseball

The spring of 2004 saw baseball return to Baptist Bible College after more than twenty years. The baseball program uses a local field for their contests. Ackerly field is located approximately three miles from campus.

Tennis

The women's tennis team uses the campus tennis courts for their practices. Currently, their matches are all played on the road due to the small number of courts we have on campus. Re-surfaced and painted in the summer of 2003, the courts are located in the heart of the campus next to the main soccer field and swimming pool.
