How does the club help?

We inaugurated the Defender Club in 2006 to encourage people to invest financially in our athletes and help our teams stay competitive.

Funds are used to raise the level of existing and future opportunities. This year’s financial goal is to raise $70,000.

As a Defender Club donor, you will help us:

- Purchase new weight, cardio, equipment, and uniforms.
- Compete in more off-site games and post-season tournaments.
- Meet the NCAA requirements for official fees and association dues.
- Invest resources toward the spiritual growth of our athletes.

We are also seeking God’s provision for expanded physical facilities. We encourage you to consider an additional gift toward athletics capital campaign projects including:

- Additional bleachers—These would be placed on the open side of the Phelps Student Center gymnasium. We face a critical need to upgrade our facility with additional seating. This is especially felt during the fall and winter seasons, when we need to accommodate large crowds for volleyball and basketball games. The projected cost is $65,000.

- A new baseball field—Our goal is to complete this project before the 2008 spring baseball season. This field will allow us to meet NCAA regulations and offer our athletes and visiting teams high quality facilities. The projected cost is $200,000.
